Hiraeth

A collective artist residency where a group of artists work and learn from each other over the course of a week, weaving together a shared language which sings us in relation with the Earth.

I facilitate the program for a collective artist residency, where a group of artists work and learn from each other over the course of a week. The residency is unique in that we create our own biosphere by each contributing a practice or exercise to the group, weaving together a shared language which sings us in relation with the Earth. I guide the group through collective writing and embodiment exercises to compost our experiences. From this we dive into the unknown, through a collective creation process whereby we respond to what’s been unearthed, creating an offering for the specific time and place we find ourselves part of.

A place where time ticks in a different, slower rhythm. Where you are invited to dive into the depths of your thinking and feeling, and investigate the connecting vibrations with the environment - the place and the people. I’m leaving with endless inspiration and the challenge not to lose it on the way back home
