A dance ritual evoking a cosmic life cycle, reawakening our primordial memory.

In this dance ritual we evoke a cosmic life cycle, reawakening our primordial memory. Born from an alchemy of our individual Mayan Dream Spells, we play with the three elements of life, death and space. In our interpretation, these three elements are intimately interwoven, each one containing the other and serving as an initiator. Life emerges from space, moves into death and transforms into space. We view the ritual of dance as a medium that can move something deep in those who experience it. There is a capacity to stir the soul of a human - a longing, a remembrance, a quality of feeling interconnected and of realising the wonder of the cosmic creation that we are a part of. After a Temple Arts Training with Zola Dubnikova we formulated this choreography for ‘Invocation of the Eternal Now’, a geometrically aligned choreographic structure which gives space for feminine improvisation to flow.
